PT. Sarana Mandiri Utama (SMU) is a fully integrated coal mining company from exploration to distribution. SMU was one of subsidiaries of PT. Bumi Nusa Permai Mining and Resources, a holding company for coal and iron ore mining companies operated in Sumatera, Kalimantan, and Sulawesi. Later SMU was acquired by PT. Bara Jaya International. Our coal mine is located in Menjelutung, North Kalimantan.
