Frequently asked questions

The EU endpoint is currently available for selected customer evaluations, initially focused on existing customers. It is not generally available, and we’re not sharing a launch date yet. Contact our team to discuss an evaluation or subscribe for updates.

Queries sent to the EU endpoint are processed within the EU using EU-based subprocessors, API infrastructure in Germany and Tavily’s own index in France. This is EU query residency: account, support, usage and billing data remain in shared US systems, as do aggregated operational metrics.

Yes. You can enable zero query retention in your account settings. It is an option you activate, rather than the default for the current offering.

Search, Extract, Crawl, Map and Remote MCP are available to enabled evaluation customers. Research is not currently supported. Features, search parameters and result quality may differ from the regular endpoint; our team will confirm support for your use case before testing.

Once access is enabled for your API key, use api.eu.tavily.com for API requests or mcp.eu.tavily.com for Remote MCP. Access is enabled per key, including newly created keys. Our team will help confirm the endpoints and parameters your integration needs.
