What’s Shipped This Month: June

Nebius Inflection Recap: The Two Internets

Tavily's founder and CEO, Rotem Weiss, spoke at Nebius Inflection about a shift already underway: the web is splitting into two internets, one built for humans and one being built for agents. Tavily's original purpose was simple, connect models to the web for real-time information and better-quality answers.

But today's agents don't browse the way humans do, and the web has to be re-architected around four pillars: token efficiency, accuracy, freshness, and latency, with different agents trading them off differently

He carried that same thinking into a conversation on the Nebius for Startups Podcast, where he traces Tavily's founder journey, moving fast, staying close to the market, and building for the future of AI-native search. Watch the podcast →

How Fieldway Reduced Research Time 91.7% With Tavily

Fieldway's CEO, Matthew Stublefield, wanted a full research plan he could run from start to finish and present to clients quickly. So, he rebuilt his AI research workflow on Tavily, turning a 5-hour manual cycle into a 25-minute agent that pulls live, cited web sources and verifies every citation. That’s a 91.7% reduction in time.

What takes bigger firms up to 2 months to complete, Matthew is now about to produce in less than half an hour. In their 5-hour process, they’d been doing research on Perplexity, which produced hallucinations in the 50% range. Using Tavily dropped it to single-digit rejected citations. Tavily Heads to Europe

This summer marks Tavily’s first time sponsoring events in Europe.

We’ll be at WeAreDevelopers World Congress in Berlin (Booth 2-43), from July 8-10, joining thousands of developers, AI builders, and engineering leaders to discuss what it takes to build, deploy, and scale AI in production.

We’re also sending a team to RAISE Summit in Paris alongside Nebius, from July 7-9, where enterprise leaders, innovators, and AI decision-makers are coming together to turn AI ambition into real-world impact. If you’re attending either event, make sure to come by and say hello!

Less Friction, More Access: Product Look

Here are three ways you can access and use Tavily:

Keyless Access lets developers use Tavily Search and Extract with no account, API key, or configuration requirements. Responses are identical to keyed requests, making it easy to prototype and move to production later, without changing code. Learn more →

x402 enables AI agents to pay for real-time web search at runtime using only a USDC wallet on Base. No API keys, signup flows, or preconfigured accounts required. Learn more →

/research performs comprehensive research on any topic by running multiple searches, analyzing sources, and generating detailed research reports, giving agents and developers a faster way to gather and synthesize information. Learn more →

File Uploads for Tavily Research: You can now attach (up to 20!) files to a research query, and the agent blends them right in with live web search. That means one run can pull from your internal data, past research context and of course - current public information from the web - all in one call.

We support Markdown, JSON, and TXT. We're especially excited about Markdown - the workhorse for agentic workflows:

  1. Agents write their research insights as an .md file
  2. Hand it to the next query
  3. Keep building instead of starting over

So your internal reports, contracts, briefs, and past research turn into context the agent can actually use.

Expanding Our Partner Ecosystem

This month, we co-hosted two community events with our partners, LangChain and Arcade.dev, in Dallas and Atlanta, respectively. These events help us shape what’s next as partners, and on our own roadmap. Thank you to all who joined us.

We also joined Snowflake Summit and Databricks Data + AI Summit to connect with teams building the next generation of AI applications. Across both events, one message stood out: teams need reliable, scalable real-time web access that fits into their existing infrastructure.

Taviliy is available on both the Snowflake and Databricks marketplaces, making it easier to add live web search, extractions, and research capabilities to workflows.

We’re also expanding our integrations across the AI ecosystem, with Tavily now available though Microsoft Copilot Studio, OpenAI Codex, Cartesia and many others. Our official partner program is live for teams looking to build with Tavily.

Community and Events

It’s been a busy month for the Tavily community. We joined NYC Tech Week with six events across four days, connecting with developers and builders across the AI ecosystem.

Highlights included:

We’re also excited to be part of the Nebius Builders Program, giving developers access to credits across Nebius AI Cloud, Nebius Token Factory, Tavily, and Nebius Academy, along with training, office hours, and a growing builder community.

Loving Tavily? Tell the world

Real reviews from real users carry more weight than anything we could say ourselves. If Tavily has made your work easier, two minutes of your time could be exactly what someone else needs to find the right tool.
