What Shipped: October 2026

October brought the first World of Tavily event, our new Startup Program, more control over web context, and new ways to build with Tavily. Catch up on our latest benchmark, customer stories, integrations, and community events.

Welcome to the World of Tavily

To close out SF Tech Week, we held the first immersive World of Tavily event with Nebius and LangChain. The experience was as visually engaging as it was inspiring for the developers who attended. The evening included lightning talks and demos from leaders across the three co-hosting companies, along with networking, food, and drinks.

Keep context fresh and in your control

October’s upgrades help your agents work with timely information and give your team more options for EU query processing.

  • Help your agents avoid outdated answers. When prices change, availability shifts, or news develops, your agents need fresh context. Set how recently a page must have been fetched (from 0 to 720 hours) to help keep their answers current. Explore freshness controls.
  • EU Query Residency helps teams move forward with agents that need web search and local query processing. Optional zero query retention gives you more control. Available for select customer evaluations. See the details.

Play with the newest integrations

Each month, Tavily adds new integrations and partnerships so your agents can work with current context wherever you build. New in October, use Tavily with:

See how much your agent can learn about a company in one search

We introduced the Company Search Benchmark to measure how well search providers help agents answer real company research questions. Built around production query patterns, a dataset available on Hugging Face, and current web evidence, it evaluates how much useful information an agent can uncover in a single search. Tavily ranked #1 among the nine providers evaluated.

Bell Cyber closes investigations 83% faster

Bell Cyber’s security operations center brought in Tavily to automate research across vulnerability databases, threat intelligence platforms, vendor documentation, and historical incidents. Investigations that once took 30 minutes now close in under five, helping its analysts handle up to 100,000 monthly alerts without adding headcount.

monday.com gives agents the context to act as teammates

monday.com integrated Tavily across its AI products so agents can combine internal workflow data with current information from the web. monday.com agents perform more than 100,000 retrievals each week for company research, contact enrichment, news monitoring, and fact-checking, and 99.8% of retrieval calls are completed successfully.

Ocean investigates one billion emails every month

Ocean’s AI agents depend on Tavily to research senders, companies, domains, and business relationships in real time, helping them identify sophisticated impersonation and phishing attempts. These web-grounded investigations happen in seconds, and in September alone, Ocean flagged approximately 54,000 malicious emails and caught roughly 900 lookalike or impersonation domains for its customers.
